Apparently, Sliced Chocolate is Now a Thing

You can buy all kinds of crazy food stuffs in Japan and the latest product to emerge is “Sliced Chocolate”. You may be thinking it’s just thinly sliced sheets of regular milk chocolate, it’s not, what we’re looking at here is the dessert equivalent to sliced cheese or sliced ham.

The type of chocolate used is referred to as “nama chocolate” a rich, creamy confectionary that’s not as sweet as fudge, but more intense in flavor than ordinary milk chocolate. The slices are been manufactured by a company called ‘Bourbon’, who despite it’s boozy name specialise in producing chocolate.

You can order the slices online and they’ll set you back around £18/$25 for a pack of 60. Check out some images below and for more info head to SHOP.BOURBON.JP
