Grills & Spills is my journey through food and drink culture. From the brands that shape my everyday ‘high street’ experience through to more refined aspects of flavour exploration, and then… I head off to the bar.

This is an exploration of everything that makes me tick – my inspiration, ideas and discoveries. After starting in hospitality at the age of 16, I’ve worked nearly every role imaginable and gained experience in almost every facet of the industry. Hospitality and the culture that surrounds it, is more than a career for me, it’s a passion.

With over a decade in the field, having worked on over 40 venues and consulted on almost double that amount, I think it’s safe to say, I know my stuff.

I look forward to sharing with you what I know, what I discover and what I think. I take the same approach to this project as I do with any other… No pretension, no nonsense, no sales speak, no hype – just the good stuff.
